Letting Go and Leaping Forward

It's the beginning of another year - the typical time for new beginnings and plans that we held off over the holidays to be implemented. Many of us - in the true spirit of resolution-making - have made promises to become better versions of ourselves. We hinge high hopes on moving beyond the past and coming to a new and improved place in our lives. During these first few weeks of the New Year, we seem to forgive ourselves for what we've done or haven't done in the past and look optimistically to the future to where or who we want to be. We forgive ourselves long enough to begin the journey.

Allow the journey to continue. Getting to that place you want to be requires you to let go of the past and anything negative that holds you there - fear, guilt, sadness, anger. When we look upon the past with a sense of humility and reverence for where we've been, we can learn whatever it is we need to learn and move confidently and gracefully forward.

You can move forward toward your dreams and become everything you want to be. Yep, you can. For real this time.
